“ Highlights: Pepper crispy chicken, soy garlic chicken I was amazed by how crispy the chicken was, despite it being oven-baked rather than fried. Since it's not fried, it feels much lighter and less greasy, which makes it clean and flavorful. The Pepper crispy flavor is absolutely the best, spicy and perfectly crispy. Meanwhile, the Soy Garlic is my 3-year-old daughter's favorite. The Mentaiko Pasta is not only incredibly flavorful but also comes in a generous portion. My only complaint is that many of the menu items lean slightly on the sweeter side. Still, the food is clean and delicious, and the service is always incredibly friendly. This has become a place I take my daughter to from time to time. A quick tip; eating there in person is much better than taking it to go, the freshness makes a huge difference! ”
“ Fire wings! Crispy and taste so much natural than other wings spots. Had the sweet/epic wiings and soy garlic. I must say there's a crunch in every bite. They also provide Korean sweet radish as the typical side. Overall, the service is great and friendly. Definitely recommend for an alternative healthy meal. ”
“ Where has Goobne been all of my life! I love Korean chicken wings and Goobne is one of my favorites! They make oven baked wings which is different from most others in LA which are deep friend. They are so juicy and seasoned very well. Whether you get dry rub or a sauce, it will be jam-packed with flavor. I also love how they cut the legs so it can lay flat when baked, giving it a nice crispy texture. So smart! Also, their Goobne sauce is crack. It's amazing on everything. Also, they give you a salad free with your order! The restaurant itself is kind of out of the main Ktown area but it's worth the trek. They only have valet but you can try street parking. Inside is very big, spacious, and clean. Staff are nice too! ”
“ I'm blown away by this place. Seriously, DONT MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE. As they advertise, it's over roasted so it doesn't have that thick coating of batter doused in oil. Don't get me wrong, I love that. But the pepper crispy had a crunch that was beyond what even some fried chicken joints advertise. Plus, the wings were literally the fattest and juiciest pieces of chicken I've ever had. I got the half and half, and it was great to have the option to try two flavors. I can't get enough of this! Might go back tomorrow. Wait staff were so kind. Friendly and checked in on us a few times, tactful to give us more napkins or water. They have a room all in black, and a room that has a bunch of sunlight. Loved the contrast. They have parking valet for $4. ”
“ I've been patronizing Goobne since they opened their KTown location. It's a dream come true to be able to taste and order healthy and tasty chicken wings that I initially watched on "Business Proposal". The ambiance is very modern and hip, which suits their innovative menu. I phoned a half and half order of Galbi wings and Soy Garlic wings. Depending on how busy they get, it usually takes 20-30 minutes for an order to be ready. My order was fresh and ready at the promised pick up time. I brought these wings to my lunch potluck at work and it seems like my colleagues enjoyed it. Both the soy garlic and galbi wings were flavorful, juicy, tender and did not miss out on the umami. Goobne Chicken is chef's kiss and I'll keep coming back. Perhaps, one of these days I will dine-in with my family and friends at this restaurant. They are my most favorite innovative, healthy Korean chicken place in KTown! ”
“ I had Goobne since I've already tried lots of great Korean FRIED chicken places before but this time I wanted to go for a healthier alternative, and this place did not disappoint at all. A Korean American friend was the one that recommended it. I tried the boneless galbi seasoning one but there's also the Sweet & Spicy and the Pepper Crispy one. The flavor alone is totally worth it. Although I still love deep fried chicken, I think with this roasted method you get more actual meat per pound. The boxes that the chicken come in are also super cool and practical for takeout and overall it was definitely worth the price (the portions are so big, you'll definitely have leftovers for the next day as well!) ”
“ I'm about to get on my health grind by eating Korean oven-baked wings instead of fried ones. I tried all of the flavors they offered except pepper crispy and my favorites were definitely the volcano, soy garlic, and sweet and spicy. That said, the galbi and original dipped in the sauce wasn't bad either. What made the saucy wings even better was the cheese dip. I've seen so many people try this on Instagram and even one of the waiters recommended that I wrap the wing with the cheese. It was actually a lot better than I thought because the cheese was pretty tangy and sharp as opposed to mild. I wish I knew what type of cheese it was because it was delicious. The interior design is stunning and the space is huge. There's a seating area downstairs with plenty of tables but also a beautiful private blacked-out room. Then, as you go up the staircase, there's more tables indoors and a spacious outdoor patio. They're having the grand opening this weekend so I can't imagine how packed and popular this place will get within the next few months. Street parking is tough but they do have valet for $3. ”

Ordered takeout on early Saturday night, and both phone and in-person services were great. Our food was also ready when I arrived. Took about 20-25 minutes for phone order. Overall, I would say this place is a hit or miss since our family all gave 3 - 4 stars and said they would go back to other Korean fried chickens. We ordered two half & half as follows: original & volcano wings, and soy garlic & pepper crispy wings. Of the four, my first pick was soy garlic. Other family members picked pepper crispy and volcano. Original barely had any flavors, it was too plain for me. Wings are definitely bigger than other places, and all wings were cooked perfectly. But unfortunately, it was a miss for our family. 치킨은 잘 구워졌는데, 양념맛이 뭔자 부족한 느낌. 오리지날은 넘 심심한 느낌이였고. 간이 세지 않아 좋아 할 사람들도 있을거 같아서, 여긴 호불호가 갈릴 듯. 치킨은 역시 후라이드가 낫다는 생각을 들게 함. ”
